Hey, I’m Marcus Reed from New Orleans.
Growing up in the birthplace of jazz gave me a deep love for rhythm from an early age. Whether it’s jazz, funk, soul, or pop, I believe every great song starts with a great groove.
My influences include Steve Gadd, Questlove, Anderson .Paak, Vulfpeck, and Snarky Puppy.
Music brings people together, and I’m grateful to be part of that journey every time I sit behind the drums.
